tomorrow, may12, is stamp out hunger. this is by far one of the easiest ways to give food to your local food bank. just put the cans out by the mailbox and your letter carrier will pick them up. check out usps.gov to be sure your carrier is participating. then check out your pantry and shar ethe wealth. i love this project. one year i was able to give a bunch of baby food that zaven never ate and all of the formula that the companies are always trying to foist onto breastfeeding moms.
also i just saw a tidbit that a great show friday night lights, that comes on NBC, just got picked up for next season. chris and i were sceptical, to say the least about a show called friday night lights about high school football in texas - not exactly our scene. but, we both ended up loving it. so we were sad that it was potentially not going to be picked up for anoher season.
played tennis again this morning and had a great time being out there. won 6-2. need to keep remembering to move my feet and watch the ball. but all in all a good day out there.
nell is napping and when she wakes up it will be time for zaven's ice cream run and then nell and i may hit a garden party and stop by the printer and pick up posters for the st. columba's garden party.
