The Birthday is Here!

Well, it's 6:45 am and Zaven and I have been up and celebrating his birthday for about an hour.
He is 4, and loving every minute of it.
He has opened a present and boy was it a good one to start with. Here is a transcript:

"mom can i open my presents."
me- "a little later when everyone wakes up"
z "can i go tell everyone it's daytime?"
me- "in a little while, but hey let's see, here is a present from brice and christie, you can open it now"

we open the box
z- "yes!...yes!...yes..." the sight of a box brimming with candy and toys is definitely the way to start your day...your BIRTHDAY!
z-" a super zippy car! I knew brice would send this to me" (this is said with total glee!)
z- "mom...mom... oh my goodness"
z- "mom look a parrot for a pirate!"
z- "i can't believe this!"

can you see the excitement in his eyes!

brice and christie, you knocked it out of the ballpark with your gift and it was a life saver this morning.

also here are some pics from the great visit we are having with grammy, papa and ella. we have been to the park and the beach and walking in town. the weather has been beautiful and the kids are loving having them all here.
