long time no see

zaven and nell still enjoy time together on the couch in the mornings.


i had a great time on my trip to louisville- the 70 mile per hour winds and power outage not withstanding.

zaven's new soccer season started last weekend, he scored a goal. this week he was goalie for the first half of the game and did a great job.

meg, charlie and carrie were here this weekend.

we had a great time.

Bus #6

we were up early, had breakfast, a shower and then we waited for the bus...very exciting.

Nell's First Day of School

Fun with Daddy!

Nell and Chris had a good time playing on the floor. Nell was having a great time jumping on Chris.


Nell says "Going to schooool"

Drop off went great. Zaven was with us, we took in her nap kit, lunch, extra clothes, etc, put them in her cubby.
The teachers and other children were out on the playground, so we went out.
Nell immediately said "Wee, now." Which means she is ready to swing.
I told her to have a great day, gave her a kiss, put her down and she ran over to the swing.

I called at mid-day and the Director said that you would never know it was her first day- she had just jumped right in.

When Zaven and I got there to pick her up, they were outside again and Nell was on the slide. Zaven went and got on the swing, when she saw him she called him over to the slide. Then she saw me and came over for a hug. But was having a great time.

We are all getting excited for Zaven's first day of Kindergarten.
The bus comes at 7:45- I hope we are ready!
Hopefully he will get to school in time to have a few minutes on the playground before going in.
