bumbo!

nell is loving her bumbo.

and we are all loving the great weather we are having. today was sunny and mid 60's.

the latest from here is that it is may and that means zaven's anticipation of his birthday is reaching a fever pitch.
to add to his mania, we have several catalogs with birthday party ideas and supplies. he loves to look through them, and gets so excited about each page and each item. i think that we are settled on the pirate theme. but the others are so tempting for him.
we have finalized the guest list.
this morning i heard zaven wake up, make his bed and get dressed. then i heard him whispering "mom, mom, good morning", then a light knock "mom, it's the birthday boy" it was so cute. he is so excited.
last night he was asking chris if he knew what he was going to wear to his party.
it is the subject of pretty much every conversation. i hope it will live up to the hype.

i am excited, however, that i am going to play tennis on saturday. first time since i was pregnant with zaven...yikes.
