Ahhhh Sunmer

We ended up having a good time celebrating Nell's third Champs meet. This year she qualified in freestyle and backstroke. The night before there was a special dinner for the swimmers and that was fun. Amy was there- Esmé wanted a picture with her. 

I took Nell to the meet and she had a fun time. She ended up getting 15th overall for the Penisula in backstroke- pretty good showing! She got a nice ribbon. And her medley relay team got 10th. 

Now with swim practice behind us there are some nice relaxed days. Even some evenings in the back yard watching the clouds go by, literally. 

Nell was also awarded the Coaches Award for the 10 and under girls. It was a great season. 

Colonial Williamsburg is testing out a new "locked room" game and I got tickets and Zaven Cannon and I went, it was really fun. We did not get out in the slotted hour but we did solve some of the puzzles  after we went to dinner and got dessert it was a fun night with those sweet silly 12 year old boys- headed into 7th grade. 

The next weekend we got Nell's Good Neighbor pass updated and spent the morning in the historic area. 

We stomped in the clay used to make bricks 

Then in the afternoon we went to Busch Gardens

Like I said, agh summer. 

Next up Florida!!! Can not wait.
