strep

ugh! one day your feeling fine, glands maybe a little swollen, but you tell yourself it is just allergies. then you go to bed and have fitful hot/cold feverish sleep. and wake up feeling like you are swallowing glass. you grab the flashlight and have a peek at the back of your throat in the mirror, yep it's strep.
that was where i was yesterday. so i dropped zaven off at school and hit the dr. told him i had strep. he confirmed and gave me a scrip for a z-pack. went to the pharmacy and paid $50 for a generic, with insurance.
as of 10 am i will no longer be contagious. so far no one else is exhibiting any symptoms, so fingers crossed.

on another note. i am getting things checked of the list for going back to work, there is a lot to consider. i am getting excited and nervous. a funny tidbit about the name danielle.
when i went to college at hobart and william smith, my room mate was danielle- the first danielle i ever knew.
ever since then every job (with the exception of calderhead and phin) i have worked with someone named danielle. that will continue to be true at roger williams. crazy right?

the kids are doing great. zaven is doing great at school. this year there is a lot more learning. he wished there were more time to play, so it wiill be nice for him to stay all day, as there will be playtime then, and gracie stays too.
nell is doing great. she is practicing standing without holding on. she is getting pretty steady. won't be long before she is walking. i can hardly believe it.

i took some pictures before church on sunday, i have to post two because i did not come away with one that both kids looked cute. nell is wearing the dress that ella gave zaven when he was a baby that jenny smocked. lots of compliments!
