yesterday was zaven's full day at school.
i had not made any plans so that felt good, along with the fact that i had a good night's sleep and it was sunny out.
nell and i went for a nice hour long walk. then i had a shower while she napped. then we went to the home depot and got some flowers.
i know does not sound like much of a feat. but. normally i get there. get overwhelmed and leave...with nothing.
but this time i stuck it out. actually, on my way out- with nothing- i saw some ranunculus.
my favorite flower, so i grabed those, some rosemary and some creamy yellow stock. and that was it. (i am now realizing i got the flowers tuesday,) but i planted them in my pots yesterday. they turned out pretty well. now i just have to try to keep them alive.
nell and i had a chill afternoon and then picked up zaven and swung by the butcher. two nice rib eye steaks for dinner with herb& garlic pasta.
it was a quiet evening, considering chris fell asleep on the couch at about 7:30. getting up at 5:30am and going great guns all day will do that to a fella. i guess.
so i was without adult conversation most of the day. and there was nothing on tv. so we all turned in pretty early for another good night's sleep.
nell is doing well sleeping in the cribby. the last two nights she has stayed in there until 5 ish. so that is pretty good. last night i only went to give her her paci one time.
