$15 down the drain

so yesterday, zaven woke up with some bites on his hips and they were kind of swollen and then he got some hives on his legs. he seemed fine, i gave him benedryl and it went away, but i called the dr. and she said to bring him in, so i did. well guess what. she did not know what it was. oh yeah that was the diagnosis i waited an hour to get and paid a $15 co-pay. whatever.
the good news is he is fine and that is what is important i guess. and our dr. is planning her wedding so i am sure the extra cash will come in handy.

here is a cute pic of the morning ritual of zaven holding nell while i make my coffee. the love is mutual. nell lights up when she sees or hears zaven, everything he does is of great interest. and he loves to make her laugh.

we had a friend over in the morning and he and zaven played a little t-ball in the back yard. then zaven went up to his house for lunch and more playing. nell and i went to home depot and got some flowers. i am going to plant two or three pots. one by the mailbox and one by the back door.

then we went to the dr and the fish market. got home and made dinner.
broiled salmon with a citrus yogurt sauce. i served it with quinoa. with cucumbers, yellow bell pepper, and feta.
very tasty.

got a great night sleep last night. feeling so revitalized. zaven is at school and nell and i are headed out for a walk.
