April showers bring May Flowers

We are having a very nice April. A mix of sun and rain, warm and cold - the kids are busy with activities and we are working to be outside and active- reducing our tv time and increasing reading for the whole family. It is really more pleasant around the house with the less tv that is watched! 

This past weekend we were happy to have Dtuart Hoke visit. He was here for the Friends of Bruton weekend. He, Chris, Isabel and I went to Cochon for dinner on Friday and had a nice time. Zaven stayed home with Wsme and was declared the "best babysitter and brother ever" so that is good. 

Nell went to the Wizard of Oz with Ms Meghan and her boys. It was a special surprise treat that Meghan did for her! What a fun thing!

Saturday the Dog Street Run started right out front and started early. That was fun to be in the middle of it. We the girls found Jessica and got to help her in the SHIP tent while I got ready for the Friends of Bruton crew to come by for a visit. All went well. 

Saturday afternoon we grilled out andOliver  spent the night. I made a chocolate cake and took half to the Lamperts. 

Sunday the girls sang

in the choir and did a great job. Then it was off to Zaven's soccer game. Nell went to Charlotte's birthday party.
