Happy Valentine's Day!

we had a very happy valentine's day. i had decorated the hyphen and put out candy gifts and cards for the kids. they were very happy and brought a chai up for me in bed. nell and zaven took valentines to school for their class. they took lollipops with construction paper lips and mustaches on them, they were pretty cute. nell had a good day at school and later when she opened her valentine from grammy she "shared" a sticker with esmé. it reminds me of the time zaven put a sticker on nell's head, i think it was a heart sticker too. here is nell enjoying her lips lollipop, wearing her heart outfit.
esmé had a little bathy today. she can sit up in the bath now and loves to splash and play.
the other day we had a little snow, nell was intent on making a snowman, here he is. nell is wearing a new hanna anderson outfit.

just as the snow started falling we rushed outside to let esmé experience her first snow. she seemed to like it.
nell had a great idea to do some big art. we got a moving box and made a city scape. we had a great time.
nell is such a sweet big sister, she loves playing with esmé. here she has worn her out and they are snuggling. very sweet. note nell is wearing a silk scarf tied as a shirt.
on super bowl sunday, zaven had two friends over. we had all the game food and even some football decorations. zaven had cleaned his room and nell was so excited. the boys watched the first quarter of the game pretty intently and then they went outside and played their own football game. they were very nice to nell and let her play and cheer. they stayed until 1/2 time. it was really fun. we had not had these boys over, they are from zaven's class this year. it was nice to have them and meet their parents. zaven stayed up and watched the whole game. we were on pins and needles hoping the giants would pull it out.
when milla and poppy were here milla brought several old dresses, esmé wore a florence eisman jumper the other day. the tag says 2T. i can't imagine a 2 year old in this as a dress. who knows. it is cure either way. esmé is growing up so much she is so fun and cute, still very happy. she has had a little cold this week and has been a little fussy. she has started making a new noise she blows through her lips and she will do it for a long time once she starts. she has also started sticking her tongue in and out it is really cute. i think i heard her say "mama" in the night last night, which is what happened when she started saying "dada", so i am waiting ... not so patiently for that to come.

zaven started lacrosse last night. he is going to be having hour and a half long practices mon and wed with optional practices on saturday. i like the coaches and I think he will have fun.

nell is loving her new school and is so happy to go there everyday.
