i said, "let's go get some and do it" and we backed out and went to sweet berry farm.
zaven got a wheel barrow - and we went and looked at the really big pumpkins.
we decided they were too big.
rolled the wheel barrow back over to the smaller pumpkins, weighed a few on the scale there.
zaven chose a 3 pounder for himself and a 2 pounder for nell.
we came home, zaven drew a face on his, we scooped out the insides and carved his pumpkin, in time to put a candle in it and put it outside for chris to see when he got home.
it was a really nice evening.
sadly i now realize that i failed to take any pictures of the kids with ella and spencer during their fun visit this weekend.
we really loved having them here.

What a cool mom to back out of the driveway at the end of the day and go get pumpkins! And I love that Zaven picked out one for Nell. So sweet.
