more fun

on monday we enjoyed a day off. we visited a beautiful place here called "wetstone". we were lucky enough to receive an open invitation to go back, we hope to often. there is a great swimming hole, no sand!




here is a cute pic of nell as she waited for her first taste of rice cereal. she is still not a fan.


and here is zaven preparing to play on his hoppy ball that lexie sent him for his birthday. he had a blast.
he is doing great playing in the backyard. swinging, riding his bike, etc.



zaven's dr's appointment went well. he got four shots. and then we had to go to the lab for some blood work. that put him over the edge. he was hysterical. the nurses were so nice. we made it through it. the doctor was nice and checked if he knew his colors, how to draw a straight line, a circle, his eyesight. he seems to be doing great. he is 38.5 lbs (70%) and 3 ft 6 in (85%).

today i played tennis and that was nice. felt pretty good, only a few shots that looked more like i was playing baseball, hitting for the fences.
then zaven, nell and i ran some errands while chris hit the gym. then chris had a wedding rehearsal and it was scallops for dinner.
chris and i watched "the queen" on dvd tonight. it was good.
